Get funded without risking your savings
A prop firm lends you its capital if you pass a challenge. We explain the rules, help you track your limits and set up bots that fit.
How a challenge works
Details vary by firm, so always read the firm's own rules.
Phase 1: the target
Reach a profit target (often 8% to 10%) without breaking the daily or overall loss limit.
Phase 2: verification
Repeat with a smaller target (often 5%) to show your result was not luck. Some firms skip this phase.
Funded account
Trade the firm's capital and keep an agreed share of the profits, usually 70% to 90%.
Challenge limit tracker
Enter your firm's rules and your numbers. It shows how close you are to each limit. Your inputs stay in your browser.
Where you stand
Check the rules before you pay
The cheapest challenge is the one you do not fail on a technicality.
Look for
- Whether EAs and bots are allowed
- News trading restrictions around high-impact events
- Whether drawdown is fixed or trailing
- Weekend holding and minimum trading day rules
- Payout schedule and how it is calculated
Red flags
- Bans on all automation, if you plan to use a bot
- Grid, martingale or hedging bans while running one of those styles
- Vague rules or no clear company information
Bots without a grid
These MetaTrader 5 bots do not use a grid or recovery, which suits stricter firms. Still confirm your firm's rules.
